Combination therapy for the treatment of metastatic melanoma using magnetic nanoparticles

The Doctoral training network MELOMANES started this month and will last four years. Twelve PhD-students will be recruited to contribute to the development of innovative therapies targeting melanoma cancer. Malsch TechnoValuation/EthicSchool will organise a training workshop on ethics and responsible innovation in September 2025 in Amsterdam. Check the project website for more information. The project is funded by the European Union Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement No 101073025.

On 4 September, I discussed how the Ethical Impact Assessment methodology could be adapted to different types of research with societal impacts, during the Symposium on Societal Impact of Research at the UMCG in Groningen. This was the latest edition of Dutch Impact Alliance Live. Download my presentation here .
