Ineke Malsch • 17 september 2019
The European Group on Ethics of Science and Technology (EGE) organises a roundtable discussion on the ethics of gene editing on 16 October 2019 in Brussels. The comments from experts and stakeholders will be incorporated in an EGE opinion at the request of the European Commission. Read the EGE statement on ethics of gene editing published in 2016 here. On 4 September, I discussed how the Ethical Impact Assessment methodology could be adapted to different types of research with societal impacts, during the Symposium on Societal Impact of Research at the UMCG in Groningen. This was the latest edition of Dutch Impact Alliance Live. Download my presentation here .
